Welcome to the world as it should be, and if not that, it is no less than the world we would most enjoy living in. The writers of this blog are history buffs, at least one holds a degree in history. We are ultimately story enthusiasts, and we love history (and very recent history1) too much to leave it in its current, boring state.
We fancy ourselves very funny people. But even more important is how funny we think the others are (should Gerber ever post something). So if you feel the need to critique anything, please feel free to be mean, so long as you are as funny. If your comment is not funny, then I will delete it2.
